Tiller Tine FAQs

Like anything else designed for use outdoors, tiller tines can wear out and need replacement. Digging through hard, rocky soil can quickly wear down the tine (the tiller "blade") and that results in less effective tilling and more effort on the machine and its user.

KD tine sets include all the fasteners you will need, along with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. As long as you have some basic tools, the process takes just 1-2 hours. 

KD Tines are sold by the set, as it is strongly recommended to replace all the tines at the same time. Replacing individual times can throw the balance off on the machine, making it considerably more difficult to steer and hold true to even, straight garden rows.

Thick, 6 mm forged steel construction is up to 20% thicker than other replacement tiller tines. Original two-hole attachment allows added strength.  New, zinc-coated hardware with locking washers are included, as are easy, step-by-step installation instructions using basic tools.
